Yes! Its something to scream out not only in September but in every day of the year! Cancer does not only effect or attack just adults but children as well. Cancer doesn't care what age you are or who you are and it is soooooooo important loves that not only you get yourself checked but as well as your baby loves!! It is something that I hope more people start to do and take seriously because its something I wish on no one!!!! So please help spread the word and make a difference!! So with that said, there was something I wanted to do to not only to help spread childhood cancer awareness but truly from the bottom of my heart wanted to do something I've been waiting to for a long time!
As you loves know, There is a beautiful baby boy named Eli who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia whom I absolutely adore! I've posted about his story and how I came across his story and hoooow much he has inspired me playing a HUGE role in me being positive in my journey with battling cancer. If you would like to see that post feel free to scroll your self on over to the right hand side of this page under Blog Archive July and it will be under " My Little Hero". he truly is such an inspiration to me and he Is what I like to call him my little hero!!!
So In the spirit of September of Childhood Cancer Awareness month I thought there be no better time then now to FINALLY give Eli his very own special "Comfort Kit"!!! Its something I've been wanting to do for soooo long now and it was just soooo special because just knowing when once I was in a hospital bed getting my chemo and I felt like I couldn't make it through, I pull out my phone look at Eli's picture and say "Got to pull through if he can I can, and one day Ill be able to meet him!" And now not only did I meet him but getting the chance to give him a "Comfort Kit" Dreams do Come true!!!!
To see the smile on his face was priceless, noting in this world could top the feeling of warmness in my heart seeing him run towards me to hug me or when he said thank you! Best day ever!!! I would like to thank all those who helped donate so that this could be possible, we were also able to include extras for his brothers which of course we could not leave out! They help take care and watch over there little brother Eli and They were just the most darn cutest kids ever and were just so sweet! We searched for all Mickey Items which he loved! And was so excited to give his parents Chromatic L'Amour gear. They are such a beautiful loving and caring family it was such an Honor to have gotten the chance to do so! HUGE thank you to my sis and Mom for helping me pack everything and a big thank you to Cece who helped donate a Mickey Hat thank you He loved it!!
